FLOATING TABLERepresenting Floating University together with Jöran Mandik we collaborated with Think Playgrounds, artists Phạm Minh Đức and Tran Luong, and studio ĐuĐu  to create a two-part project around the idea of a dinner table as a social sculpture. The first phase was about creating a space: after exploring the neighbourhood, we guided participants in a design build workshop in the Phuc Tan playground to build unusual tables from found materials and debris left after Typhoon Yagi. Studio ĐuĐu then led an indigo dye workshop during which we created numerous tablecloths and banners using traditional sustainable dyeing techniques to shape the space around the tables.The second phase was all about hosting—first, a discursive dinner on disturbance ecology and then a festive, potluck-style gathering that welcomed the local community.
